This course is designed to be split into three 2-hour sessions with little hands-on activities for the participants. The sessions follows the order of difficulty, assuming users have absolutely no idea how to make use of the interface. Adobe Premiere Pro is used as one of the most common prosumer as well as professional standard video editing software in the industry. Sensorium Vale uses the fundamental flexibility of the software as well as the power it provides to produce our videos. All members should be able to grasp at least the basics of video editing with Adobe Premiere.
The course, in totality, seeks to cover the following points:
Due to insufficient time, the effects will only be covered briefly and students are encouraged to explore other special effects themselves. Fine-tuning for chrmoa keying will not be taught completely as it would erode incentive for students to explore the software themselves. In addition, title design will be kept concise, so students with Adobe Photoshop experience may be able to create better titles but others should also seek to explore the different combination of text effects to achieve the results they desire.
General advice for participants of this course is to explore the software as best as possible, playing around with the different effects once you understand the fundamentals such as cutting clips, adjusting timing, after knowing how to read the time codes, or shrinking and expanding the timeline. Those basics will suffice to help you navigate around the entire software.
